Gardening has been my one life-long interest. Whether it was transplanting things from the forest beside my grandparent’s farm or developing the properties where I have lived, it is plants that have always remained friends and a source of belief in new life and opportunities. Now, it is friends that both share and help maintain my garden. The pictures included here are recent garden photos at my present residence. Along with gardening I have always had an interest in floral design. I continue to pursue that interest as part of the “Winnipeg Flower Arranging Group”. We meet eight times annually to inspire each other and explore the art of floral design at Assiniboine Park Conservatory. Our annual show at the conservatory is called the Winnipeg Floral Design Show (formerly Floriculture) and will be held July 18-19 next year.
